Pigments for modelling are used to frame and simulate wear on vehicles, shields, defences and structures of the models and to create effects of dust deposits, mud and smoke produced by time and natural aging.
The pigments in this range are iron oxides and land natural, especially suitable for the different climatic and geographic conditions on the grounds of a diorama. These pigments are used in the manufacture of our colours have been processed and micronized especially to facilitate their dispersion in any liquid medium, water of an acrylic resins, turpentine or oil. To fix the pigment to the surface using an acrylic matte finish, as our medium matte or pigment half enamel has slower drying, makes it easy to simulate rain water and snow and gives more time to manipulate the pigment inside and around the details of the model.
You can also take special effects by mixing pigments with products water & stone, like for example water transparent for effects of grease, oil and wet clay, or paste sandstone to create a surface rough and thick mud dry and deeply rusted and flaking metal.
